simply affirm this prior wrongful conviction, you know, there is nothing that would lead anyone to believe in any of the evidence that there would be any other verdict but one of not guilty. because there simply is an absence of evidence in this case. >> right. i mean, the fact that it got this far in the trial, that she was convicted at first, it's stunning when you actually look at what evidence there was, because as you said, there really wasn't. as a practical matter, is this case over as far as your client is concerned? i mean, she's living in seattle, she's a student at the university of washington. is she watching these proceedings at all? >> well, i've spoken to amanda a number of times today, and she as well as her family have acted with the utmost courage, persistence, patience, grace, dignity throughout all these proceedings. but like everyone else, they are waiting and they are waiting for what the decision will be. as anyone would.
